33rd Biennial Convention at Guntersville State Park, we are still are still “high” from the experience. If you didn’t attend, hopefully you will hear, or have already heard, all about it from your delegate who attended. · Three great bible studies by Judy Zecher · Our LWML Vice President of Gospel Outreach, Marilyn McClure · Cynthia Kahn, who spoke about POBLO (People Of the Book Lutheran Outreach) and how Islam is and will affect our cultures throughout the world · Mission speaker, Rev Doug Davis, Mission Developer, Southern District, LCMS · Flo Hofman’s personal witnessing story about her autistic son · Rev Ted Richter, First Vice President of the Southern District, LCMS, a special thanks for being our Proclaimer at our worship service on Friday evening. We live in a big world, yet the little things each of us do make us strong. The faithful prayers, the filled mite boxes, the service and the joy of fellowship in the LWML impact not only the women of the church, but also the recipients of our gifts and service.
